There are a few ways to use this site, including just looking around and reading what's here. You can also follow us on twitter for site updates and other news.
Comments and Forums
If you'd like to participate in the forums or comment on things that other people have said, then you'll need a username and password - register on the right-hand side. The system will send you a confirmation email, so be sure to check your inbox.
Creating stories
If you would like to tell your story or post images, you will also need a username and password. You are welcome to contribute anything here, as long as it is not profane or indecent (we reserve the right to remove content). It doesn't need to be about caregiving at all. From time to time we will post topics and thoughts to write about or take pictures of, but you are always welcome to contribute whatever moves you.
Right now you have three choices, you can:
- Add a photo essay
- Add a written piece
- Add a video
made from images you upload from your computer, or images you have on Flickr. To see an example of what one of the photo essays looks like, just check out the all stories page and see what some others have done. You can also put text into your photo essay, no problemo.
You can write directly through the site, or you can send an email to our content inbox and it will go directly onto the site. You'll get instructions for that when you sign up. It's a nice way to post to the site from your phone or other device.

Right now you can embed a video that you have on Vimeo, YouTube or Blip. Just Select add a video and enter the URL.
It is assumed that if you are posting images of people or identifiable spaces on this site, that you have received the subjects' permission. Please respect the privacy of others.
